2026 PSL Program 

Forza Soccer Academy – PSL Program Overview

The Forza Soccer Academy PSL program provides players with a structured training environment combined with competitive league play. The outdoor season emphasizes consistency, development, and team cohesion through a balanced schedule of training and matches.

 

Teams Offered – Outdoor 2026 PSL Season

For the Outdoor 2026 PSL season, Forza Soccer Academy will be fielding the following Saskatoon based teams:

 

  • U13 Boys

  • U15 Girls

  • U15 Boys

 

Training Program

Pre-Season Training
April 7 – May 1 (4 weeks)

  • Three training sessions per week

  • One technical session on turf

  • Two fitness-based sessions on hard court

 

Regular Season Training
May 4 – July 31 (13 weeks)

  • Two training sessions per week

  • Training held on grass fields

 

League Play & Season Timeline

The season will run from mid-May to mid-July, with playoffs extending into late July.

 

PSL Season Kick-Off

  • Mid-week play begins the week of May 11

  • Weekend play begins May 23–24

 

PSL Playoffs & Finals

  • U13 Finals: July 11–12

  • U15 & U17 Semi-Finals: July 18–19 (higher seed hosts)

  • PSL Finals: July 24–25 in Regina

Teams can expect one to two matches per week, based on league scheduling.

 

Games & Competition Expectations

  • The number of regular-season matches depends on league-wide participation

  • Teams must be available for both weekday and weekend matches

  • Game schedules are set by the league and cannot be adjusted

  • Teams qualifying for playoffs should expect travel within Saskatchewan

 

Playing Time Philosophy

PSL is a competitive league. Playing time is earned and assessed based on:

  • Attendance

  • Commitment

  • Effort

  • Adherence to team standards and expectations

Equal playing time is not guaranteed.
